98 Year Old Man donates his $2 Million Stock to WildLife

The 98 year old man name Russ Gremel has stocks worth $2 million and instead of gift himself to  a new house or car, he decided to donate his money all to wildlife.

70 years ago, Russ Gremel invested $1000 in Walgreen’s stock. Because his brother worked at one and told Russ, “Drug stores are a good business because old people alwyas need medication and women will alwalys buy cosmetics.” he invested his money in pharmacy.

Now Walgreen’s exploded and the stocks owned by Russ Gremel were worth more than $2 million. So he finally cashed out.

Beside of going on a lavish retirement vacation, Rush Gremel decided to donate the money to the Illinois Audubon Society. For that money, they are using it to help establish a nearly 400-acre wildlife refuge near Chicago by dedicated in his name on Sunday.

He thought, “Why not give it to them now, when … I have the pleasure and enjoyment of seeing it.”

Russ Gremel said “I’m a very simple man, I don’t eat fancy foods and instead opts for oatmeal and stew. I never let anybody know I had that kind of money.” . Gremel never got married or had any children. He has a car Dodge Omni for 25 years.

He served his country during World War II as an Army lieutenant stationed on Kauai, Hawaii, and on the island of Tinian.

“What am I gonna do with this money? Give it to my relatives and ruin their life?” Gremels asked the Chicago Tribune.

Live look at the relatives whose live won’t be ruined with millions. “You have to do some good in this world. That’s what money is for.” Gremels said.
